The Centre for Fiduciary Excellence (CEFEX) has awarded DirectAdvisors a CEFEX Fiduciary Certificate of Registration. This registration serves institutional retirement plans that require assurance that their investments are being managed according to commonly accepted best practices. DirectAdvisors is one of only two firms in New York State to receive this certification.

CEFEX-certified firms adhere to a standard representing the best practices in their industry. The standards include specific criteria that have been substantiated by regulation or written in consultation with leading firms. CEFEX conducted the fiduciary assessment of DirectAdvisors in August 2017. Determining DirectAdvisor’s practices in providing investment advice to clients conform to the fiduciary standards of excellence.

“This certification confirms DirectAdvisor’s adherence to the industry’s best practices, and positions us to further earn the public’s trust. This is a tremendous honor for DirectAdvisors to receive as we take our fiduciary responsibilities for our clients very seriously,” says Jeff Bennett, co-founder of DirectAdvisors.
