This is a reminder for contractors performing public work in New York that the updated prevailing wage and supplement rates have been published and are effective starting July 1, 2021. These updated rates must be followed regardless of the rates that were in effect when you bid your job.
If you have processed payroll since July 1, 2021 using the old rates, you are required to make a retroactive adjustment in your next scheduled payroll. Make sure you carefully document any retroactive adjustments so that you can provide this information to interested parties in the future.
